Location

The Lee County in Northeast Mississippi serves as the region’s economic hub. Tupelo Business Center is located in the Tupelo Lee Industrial Park South in the southern portion of Lee County, which is home to over 20 industrial occupants that employ over 4,500. The facility is approximately 90 miles from Memphis, Tennessee, 189 miles from Jackson, Mississippi; 220 miles from Nashville, Tennessee; and 140 miles from Birmingham, Alabama.

Lee County’s industrial parks are strategically located outside of municipal boundaries for tax reduction purposes and to maximize labor availability and public infrastructure.  Over 600 acres of Greenfield sites are available within these industrial parks for additional development.



Infrastructure

Lee County offers immediate access to the national highway system and outstanding logistical and transportation advantages. Tupelo Lee Industrial Park South has direct frontage on US 45 and has over 200 acres of available land. I-22 (US78) provides the major east and west corridor, while US 45 provides the major north and south corridor within the national highway system. 

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe and the Kansas City Southern, two class one railroads, provides rail service to Lee County and its industrial parks. 

Tupelo/Regional Airport provides commercial air service and charter air cargo service to the region.
